Softball Recap: Granger Wins Going Away Against Mabton

Granger never got on the board in their matchup on Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Mabton on Tuesday. They blew past the Vikings 21-5. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won four matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Granger is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.3 runs over those games. As for Mabton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1.

Looking ahead, Granger will face off against Kittitas at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Mabton, they will challenge Tri-Cities Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of.
