Booker T. Washington got themselves on the board against East Central on Thursday, but East Central never followed suit. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 48-0 victory over the Cardinals. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Hornets' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Cardinals are ranked 191st).

Booker T. Washington has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.0 points on average over those games. As for East Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
