Shawnee came tearing into Thursday's contest with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Wapakoneta Redskins as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Redskins, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Shawnee was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-8, 25-10.

Sami Rettig was the offensive standout of the match as she had 11 digs and two assists.

Shawnee was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in nine consecutive matchups.

Shawnee's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Wapakoneta, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-12.

Shawnee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Versailles on the 27th. As for Wapakoneta, they will head out on the road to take on Anna at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
