Recap: Brooklyn Tech Engineers vs. Bushwick Tigers

There's no place like home for the Brooklyn Tech Engineers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. Everything went their way against Bushwick on Wednesday as Brooklyn Tech made off with a 58-36 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Brooklyn Tech also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2018.

Troy Hornbeck was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Baseer Mirza, who scored eight points.

Brooklyn Tech's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Bushwick, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Brooklyn Tech will head out on the road to face off against Sunset Park at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bushwick, they will be playing at home against Gaynor at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Gaynor knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Bushwick likes a good challenge.
