Softball Recap: Regina Takes a Loss

Regina was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-5 to the Romeo Bulldogs. Regina was not able to make up for their defeat to Romeo from their previous meeting back in April of 2018.

Lorelei Mahon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Ryska, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Regina now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Romeo, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Regina will square off against Mercy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Romeo, they will take on Anchor Bay at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
