 Cordova can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Thursday. They won by a  run and slipped past the Dora Bulldogs  6-5. The  victory was just what Cordova needed coming off of  a  10-2 defeat in their prior  match.
 The team  relied heavily on  Daniel Jackson, who  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, three  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Cordova's win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 3-8. As for Dora, they now  have a losing record at 8-9.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cordova will take on Lynn at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. One thing working in Lynn's favor is that they have posted big  run totals  in their last three matchups. As for Dora, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Pleasant Grove at 4:30  p.m. Pleasant Grove is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 10.9  runs per game this season.
