Brookland won the last time they faced Highland and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bearcats put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bearcats.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-16, 25-6.

Leading Brookland to victory were Ashlyn Ussery and Lexie Schuermann. Ussery had six digs and five aces, while Schuermann had three aces and one assist. That's the most aces Schuermann has posted over her last 12 matches.

They weren't the only good servers: Brookland was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. They are 8-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Brookland's victory bumped their record up to 13-8-1. As for Highland, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11-1.
