Softball Recap: Clarksdale Comes Up Short

Clarksdale fell victim to Corinth and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 14-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost six in a row.

Clarksdale's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Corinth, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarksdale will face off against Simmons at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Corinth, they will challenge West Point at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
