Baseball Recap: Plymouth Gets the Win

Plymouth's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Walled Lake Northern Knights 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since May 17, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Logan Pheiffer, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those three doubles gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Phinley Jeffrey, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Plymouth's victory bumped their record up to 4-16. As for Walled Lake Northern, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8.

Plymouth will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Knights: the pair will be back at it again later today.
