Soccer Recap: Camelback's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sunnyslope, Camelback was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the West Point Dragons. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Spartans as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Camelback's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for West Point, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7-1.

Camelback and West Point could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings. Camelback (ranked 163rd) will meet Browne (ranked 34th) at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, West Point will challenge Apollo at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday down 143 places (170 vs. 27).
