Baseball Recap: Mt. St. Michael Academy Comes Up Short

Mt. St. Michael Academy lost against Regis back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mountaineers fell 9-4 to the Raiders.

Mt. St. Michael Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marcus Fiallo, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Mt. St. Michael Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Regis, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-11.

Mt. St. Michael Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. After both having extra time off, Regis and Moore Catholic will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 6:00 p.m. on June 25.
