Football Game Recap: Oxford Hills/Buckfield vs. Portland

After a string of three wins, Oxford Hills/Buckfield's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Portland by a score of 14-17. That makes it the first time this season Oxford Hills/Buckfield have let down their home crowd.

The defeat dropped Oxford Hills/Buckfield's record to 5-2. The victory bumped Portland's record up to 6-1.

Next week Oxford Hills/Buckfield take on Windham at 7:00 PM. Oxford Hills/Buckfield have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Windham are surely hoping to exploit. As for Portland, they will face off against South Portland. Portland are cruising in on a four-game winning streak while South Portland are stumbling in off of five consecutive losses.
