Basketball Game Preview: Port Allegany Gators vs. Austin Panthers

Port Allegany has gone 8-2 against Austin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Port Allegany Gators will host the Austin Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Port Allegany will be strutting in after a victory while Austin will be coming in after a loss.

Last Friday, Port Allegany didn't have too much trouble with Galeton as they won 62-44. The win continues a trend for the Gators in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 60-30, which was the final score in Austin's tilt against Coudersport on Wednesday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Austin's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Port Allegany, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.

Port Allegany took their win against Austin in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 56-33. Will Port Allegany repeat their success, or does Austin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
