Volleyball Recap: Midview Middies vs. Steele Comets
Midview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Steele Comets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Middies of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-9, 25-11.
Steele was led to victory by Leighton Waynar and Roxy Trunzo. Waynar had five digs and two aces, while Trunzo had 14 digs. Trunzo is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in the last seven games she's played dating back to last season.
Midview's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Steele, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.
Midview will welcome Avon Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Steele, they will play host again on Thursday to welcome Berea-Midpark, where is scheduled at 7:00 p.m.
