Softball Game Preview: North Garland Raiders vs. Naaman Forest Rangers

North Garland is 1-9 against Naaman Forest since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Raiders will square off against the Rangers at 6:30 p.m. North Garland will be strutting in after a victory while Naaman Forest will be coming in after a defeat.

It was a classic North v. South duel when North Garland took on South Garland on Tuesday. The Raiders put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 20-10 win. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Naaman Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Wylie East, falling 15-0.

Naaman Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for North Garland, their win bumped their record up to 4-20.

North Garland suffered a grim 17-1 defeat to Naaman Forest in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
