Soccer Recap: Apollo Takes a Loss

Apollo fell victim to Bryan Station and their airtight defense on Saturday. They came up short against the Defenders, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Apollo can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky soccer rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while Bryan Station are ranked 19th).

Apollo has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Bryan Station, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2-2.

Apollo didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-2 win against Paducah Tilghman on the 13th. As for Bryan Station, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 6-0 victory against Madisonville-North Hopkins on the 13th.
