River Forest dropped their record down to 14-7 on Friday, which also ended the team's seven-game streak of wins. They lost 34-9 to the Boone Grove Wolves. The Ingots were not able to make up for their loss to the Wolves from their previous meeting back in May of 2023.

Coming up, River Forest will take on Hammond Morton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Boone Grove, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on 21st Century Charter at 7:00 p.m. on the 28th.
