Soccer Recap: South Point Comes Up Short

South Point lost against Fairland back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pointers lost 8-0 to the Dragons. The defeat leaves South Point still looking for their first win of the season.

South Point's loss dropped their record down to 0-11-1. As for Fairland, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4-2.

Looking ahead, South Point will take on Gallia Academy in a tournament on Wednesday. South Point's defense better be ready for this one: Gallia Academy have averaged an impressive 3.6 goals per game this season. As for Fairland, they will welcome Waverly at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fairland will be up against Waverly's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.47 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
