Basketball Game Preview: Taylor's Crossing Eagles vs. Sho-Ban Chiefs

Taylor's Crossing and Sho-Ban are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Taylor's Crossing Eagles will square off against the Sho-Ban Chiefs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Taylor's Crossing is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Rockland just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Bulldogs and fell 59-20. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Sho-Ban, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 60-45 win over Leadore on Saturday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Chiefs considering their 20-point performance the match before.

Sho-Ban's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Taylor's Crossing, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.

Taylor's Crossing beat Sho-Ban 58-49 in their previous meeting last Tuesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Taylor's Crossing since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
