Basketball Recap: Nooksack Valley Takes a Loss

Nooksack Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 61-48 to the Squalicum Storm. That's two games in a row now that the Pioneers have lost by exactly 13 points.

Nooksack Valley now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Squalicum, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nooksack Valley will take on Oak Harbor at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Squalicum, they will be playing at home against Sehome at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Squalicum's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.
