Hercules barely beat Richmond the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Titans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Oilers on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Oilers: they've now won six in a row.

Hercules never let Richmond on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 26-24, 25-20.

Hercules' win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Richmond, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-14.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Hercules will host De Anza at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Richmond, they will take on Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
