Softball Recap: Warwick Takes a Loss

Warwick fell victim to Bethel and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 1-0. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Bruins recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Warwick's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Bethel, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warwick will venture away from home to square off against Woodside at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolverines have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.11 runs per game on average), something the Raiders will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Bethel, they will head out on the road to face off against Maury at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
