Volleyball Recap: Sweeny Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Sweeny entered their tilt with Tomas on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Tomas.

Abbie Finch paced Sweeny's offense, picking up seven kills. Finch got some help from Belle Seibert and her nine assists. Hannah Forshee controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Sweeny's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Tomas, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Sweeny didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Porter on the 22nd. Tomas has also already played their next game (against Nimitz), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
