Volleyball Preview: South Adams Starfires vs. Northeastern Knights
The South Adams Starfires will head out on the road to challenge the Northeastern Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. South Adams is looking to tack on another W to their 13-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
Last Thursday, everything went South Adams' way against Bluffton as South Adams made off with a 3-0 win.
The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23, 25-16.
Meanwhile, Northeastern came up short against Seton Catholic on Thursday and fell 3-1. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
After all that action, the final score was 25-14, 19-25, 26-24, 25-22.
South Adams' victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Northeastern, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
South Adams took their win against Northeastern in their previous meeting back in September of 2023 by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Adams since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
