Softball Recap: Governor Mifflin Comes Up Short

If Governor Mifflin was riding high fresh off their 21-5 takedown of Reading last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs came up short against the Warwick Warriors on Thursday, falling 10-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Mustangs were not able to get on the board.

Governor Mifflin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Warwick, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Governor Mifflin will venture away from home to challenge Twin Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Warwick, they will be playing at home against J.P. McCaskey at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors are facing the Red Tornado at the right time seeing as the Red Tornado are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
