Volleyball Recap: Sports Leadership & Management Comes Up Short

After flying high against the Warriors last Wednesday, the Wolves came back down to earth. The Sports Leadership & Management Wolves fell just short of Sports Leadership & Management by a score of 3-2 on Monday. While the Wolves didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Sports Leadership & Management 25-15 in the first set.

The Wolves came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-23, 25-23, 21-25, 16-14.

Kai Castro paced the Wolves' offense, picking up 17 kills. Castro got some help from Matheo Guiyesse and his 33 assists. Guiyesse was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

The Wolves' loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Sports Leadership & Management, their victory bumped their record up to 7-12.

The Wolves didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against the Bears on the 23rd. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against the Bulls on the 22nd.
