Recap: Great Falls Red Devils vs. Lewisville Lions
This season hasn't been kind to the Great Falls Red Devils, who are still winless after their 13th match. They took a serious blow against Lewisville on Friday, falling 49-17. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Great Falls has suffered since December 8, 2023.
Lewisville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aiyana Murrell out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. Murrell is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Trinity Baker, who scored 20 points along with eight assists.
Great Falls bumped their record down to 0-13 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Lewisville, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing C.A. Johnson the next time they take the court. Great Falls will head out to face C.A. Johnson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Lewisville will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
