Football Game Preview: Big Sky Eagles vs. Sentinel Spartans + How To Watch

The Big Sky Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Sentinel Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Big Sky will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Big Sky's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Hellgate, posting a 33-0 win. Fans of the Eagles have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Big Sky didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Carson Pesek and Nolan Pestel.

Meanwhile, Sentinel played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Glacier, falling 48-14. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Wolfpack recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Although Sentinel took the loss, they still got scores from Tucker Laslovich and Rudy Hess.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sentinel fell to 5-1. As for Big Sky, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's contest: Big Sky has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 423.5 total yards per game. It's a different story for Sentinel, though, as they've been averaging only 232.2 total yards. Will Big Sky be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Spartans flip the script?

Big Sky won a game that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in September of 2024, slipping by Sentinel 15-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
