Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Wildcats vs. Spencerville Bearcats
It was a proper cat-fight when Jefferson challenged Spencerville on Thursday. The Wildcats came up short against the Bearcats, falling 3-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Bearcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Kate Brinkman paced Jefferson's offense, picking up six kills. Brinkman got some help from Alissa Gallmeier and her 13 assists. Brinkman also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Claire Brinkman, each putting up two.
Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Spencerville, their victory ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11.
Looking ahead, Jefferson will challenge Van Wert at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Spencerville, they will take on Fort Recovery at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
