Football Recap: Rocky Bayou Christian Takes a Loss

Rocky Bayou Christian and Walton squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Rocky Bayou Christian had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Braves 69-13. The Knights were red-hot offensively heading into the game (they scored no less than 31 points in the three matchups prior), but the Braves' defense proved too tough.

Rocky Bayou Christian moved to 3-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Walton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Rocky Bayou Christian will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Snyder at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will be up against the Cardinals' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.3 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Walton, they will be playing at home against Maclay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
