            Conway Christian fell victim to St. Joseph and their airtight pitching crew  on Thursday. They took  a  3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Joseph Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 22  runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
 Conway Christian had to settle for second despite strong performances on the mound from  Tyson James and  Eli Brannon James  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit, while  Brannon  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Brannon has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits any time he's  pitched this season.
