Elk Point-Jefferson lost to Tri-Valley on Saturday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Huskies came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 3-1.

Elk Point-Jefferson had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 13-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-16.

Elk Point-Jefferson's record now sits at 12-16. As for Tri-Valley, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elk Point-Jefferson will take on Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tri-Valley, they will challenge Dell Rapids at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
