Basketball Recap: Patterson Mill Skates Past Bel Air with Ease

Patterson Mill came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Bel Air Bobcats 61-24. That's two games straight that Patterson Mill has won by exactly 37 points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Patterson Mill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rylie Madsen, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten boards. Madsen has been hot, having also posted two or more blocks the last seven times she's played. Sophia Trinh was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to eight assists and four steals.

Patterson Mill was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Patterson Mill pushed their record up to 15-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Bel Air, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

Patterson Mill has already played their next match (against South Carroll), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bel Air does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
