Top 25 senior prospect is averaging over 43 points per game this season.

Trae Young had a career night Friday.

The five-star recruit set an Oklahoma Class 6A state record with 62 points in leading Norman North (Okla.) to a 103-67 victory over Edmond Memorial.

It was a night to remember for Young.

"It felt great," Young told MaxPreps. "I had a great feel early on in the game and I just stayed in a zone. It was probably the best game of my high school career. I was also given an award before the game for surpassing 2,500 points in my career, but scoring 62 points was special."

Regarded as the No. 18 overall prospect in the Class of 2017, Young unofficially leads the country at over 43 points per game.

Young is set to commit Feb. 16 and will decide between Kansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Washington.
