Softball Game Preview: Norwood-Norfolk Flyers vs. Brushton-Moira Panthers

The Norwood-Norfolk Flyers will face off against the Brushton-Moira Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Norwood-Norfolk beat Brushton-Moira 13-9. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Flyers.

For Brushton-Moira's part, Lillian Jones made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double was Jones' first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madisyn Parent, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Brushton-Moira and nudges their season record down to 6-10. As for Norwood-Norfolk, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Norwood-Norfolk was able to grind out a solid victory over Brushton-Moira in their previous matchup last Tuesday, winning 13-9. Will the Flyers repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
