Football Game Preview: Richland Colts vs. Hatton/Northwood Thunder

The Richland Colts will challenge the Hatton/Northwood Thunder on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Richland lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Enderlin, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's matchup. The Colts claimed a resounding 50-22 victory over the Eagles. The Colts' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Hatton/Northwood humbled Maple Valley/Hope-Page with a 44-14 victory. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Thunder with their most commanding win of the season.

Richland's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Hatton/Northwood, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Richland skirted past Hatton/Northwood 15-12 in their previous matchup back in August of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colts since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
