Diego Esparza continued his hot streak on Thursday by dropping his 27th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 15 points. He posted 23 points along with seven assists and six steals. He was dominant the last time he took on Otis-Bison back in February of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. That was a full 37.7% of Macksville's points, marking the eighth time in a row Esparza has earned more than a third of the team's points.

Looking ahead, Esparza and Macksville won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against St. John at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
