Baseball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 21-9 to the Tri-Center Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 back in May.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Tri-Center, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Riverside will face off against rival Treynor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Tri-Center is set to take on their familiar foe Logan-Magnolia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
