Volleyball Recap: Howell Takes a Loss

Howell lost against Fort Zumwalt West on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings fell 3-1 to the Jaguars. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-15, 22-25, 25-23.

Audrey Lashbrook had a dynamite game For Fort Zumwalt West., getting 32 digs and three aces. Lashbrook has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 11 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Charley Wall, who had five aces.

Howell's loss dropped their record down to 3-17-2. As for Fort Zumwalt West, the victory was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Howell will welcome Troy-Buchanan at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fort Zumwalt West, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against St. Charles at 5:00 p.m.
