Baseball Recap: John Paul the Great Academy Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, John Paul the Great Academy was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Good Samaritan HomeSchool Hornets. If the Guardians were looking for revenge after losing 17-0 to the Hornets when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

John Paul the Great Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Good Samaritan HomeSchool, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

John Paul the Great Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-9 victory against Psalms Christian Academy on the 8th. As for Good Samaritan HomeSchool, they have also already played their next game, a 7-3 defeat against Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool on the 8th.
