Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Brookyln Woolard and Rebekah Smith Lead Southeastern Homeschool to Victory

Southeastern HomeSchool came into Friday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Fayetteville HomeSchool Crusaders by a score of 2-0 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 5th.

Leading Southeastern HomeSchool to victory were Rebekah Smith and Brookyln Woolard. Smith had ten digs and seven assists, while Woolard had five aces and three digs. Those seven assists gave Smith a new career-high. Finley Jones also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.

Southeastern HomeSchool's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Fayetteville HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southeastern HomeSchool will host Durham Flight HomeSchool at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fayetteville HomeSchool, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Father Capodanno on October 7.
