Football Recap: Waukegan Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Waukegan extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 14 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-6. They took a blow against the Libertyville Wildcats, falling 48-6. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 413th, while the Wildcats are ranked 157th).

As for Libertyville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3. The contest marked their most dominant win of the season.

Libertyville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aidan Weaver out in front who rushed for 137 yards on only nine carries. Those 137 rushing yards gave Weaver a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Wallace, who threw for 125 yards and three TDs on perfect 7-for-7 passing.
