Leon entered their tilt with Madison County on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cowboys.

Riley Knipple paced Leon's offense, picking up five kills. Knipple also shared the team's lead in assists with Riley Perezluha: they picked up seven each. Jordyn Russell controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Leon's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Madison County, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Looking ahead, Leon will venture away from home to take on Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madison County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Lowndes on the 18th.
