Baseball Game Preview: Corcoran Panthers vs. Caruthers Blue Raiders

The Corcoran Panthers will square off against the Caruthers Blue Raiders at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Caruthers took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Corcoran, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, Corcoran was able to grind out a solid victory over Farmersville, taking the game 8-3. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Aztecs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Caruthers didn't have quite enough to beat Yosemite on Friday and fell 3-1. The Blue Raiders have struggled against the Badgers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Caruthers' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Corcoran, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Everything went Corcoran's way against Caruthers in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Corcoran made off with a 10-2 win. Will Corcoran repeat their success, or does Caruthers has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
