Softball Recap: Montgomery Academy Takes a Loss

Montgomery Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 18-2 to the Saint James Trojans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Monday.

Montgomery Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Saint James, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-6 record this season.

Montgomery Academy will look to defend their home field on Monday against Alabama Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. As for Saint James, they are taking a road trip to face off against Elmore County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
