The Williston Red Devils will head out to face off against the Bell Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Williston is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Williston is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since March 11, 2025 on Wednesday. They came up short against Bradford, falling 11-4.

Williston got a good showing from Jacob Hassell, who tossed four innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, Williston saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jamarien Wilcox, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI. Aiden Phillips also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Bell scored first but ultimately less than Fort White in their matchup on Thursday. They took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bell now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Williston, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Williston couldn't quite finish off Bell when the teams last played back in March of 2025 and fell 4-2. Can the Red Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
