Westfield won the last time they faced Falls Church and things went their way on Monday too. The Bulldogs never let the Jaguars get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. That's two games straight that Westfield have won by exactly two goals.

Erin Almieda and Sara Shibuya scored both of Westfield's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Westfield and bumps their season record up to 4-2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for Falls Church, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Coming up, Westfield will face off against Yorktown at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Yorktown will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Westfield surely won't give up without a fight. As for Falls Church, they will challenge Annandale at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Falls Church's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
