After having lost a blowout in their previous game against James Kenan, Spring Creek was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Midway Raiders by a score of 2-0. Even though Spring Creek got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( David Kolko Medi was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Jerry Alexander Perez Rodas and Easton Gregory Smith scored both of Spring Creek's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Spring Creek's victory bumped their record up to 7-10-1. As for Midway, their defeat ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 12-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Spring Creek is set to challenge their familiar foe Rosewood at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Midway will face off against rival James Kenan at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
