Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only West Jordan walked away with it. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles 3-2. The Jaguars are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 13 straight.

Rita Tavita spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on six hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, Andrea Tagovailoa was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

West Jordan's victory bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Maple Mountain, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-9.

As of now, neither West Jordan nor the Golden Eagles have any future games scheduled.
