Baseball Game Preview: Bear Creek Bears vs. Lakewood Tigers

For the second straight game, Bear Creek will face off against Lakewood. The Bears will be playing at home against the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Bear Creek came up short against Lakewood and fell 10-6. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Josh Nelson led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Matt Hegerle, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases and one run.

Bear Creek's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Lakewood, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-12.
